Reading Is Dead

 

Once I complete my business with my contacts, I have to send out an email which contains the following information:

Please find attached the following document and instructions:

1. XYZ Corp. EFT form 2010.doc
   1. This is a direct payment method which XYZ Corp. is offering for you to receive your payments directly to your bank account. This program will accelerate your receipt of funds by eliminating the time it takes your check to reach you via regular mail. Typically this will save you anywhere from 5-7 days.

PLEASE BE SURE TO SEND THE EFT/ACH FORM TO:
FAX: 888-555-1111
ATTN: JOHN DOE, SUPERVISOR ACCOUNTS PAYABLE

1.  If you are already receiving your payments from XYZ CORP. via EFT or ACH you will not need to fill out the form.

So what do I receive back from a good portion of the people I send this out to?

20% of people send back some variation of, “We are already set up with EFT, do I need to fill out the form again?”

WIDTS: Yes and please send your form back via non-secure email. That way I have a scapegoat when I drain your company bank account.
