Caller: Who are you accredited through?
Me: We are accredited through the National Board for Accreditation & Certification.
Caller: Are there any clinical hours required?
Me: No, all of your coursework is done online through virtual training labs.
Caller: But the AAMA requires clinical hours.
Me: We are not accredited through the AAMA. We are accredited through the National Board for Accreditation & Certification.
Caller: So what should I do? The AAMA requires clinical hours.
WIDTS: Good for the AAMA. If you want to be accredited with them once you graduate from our program, you’ll need to petition our accreditation department to see if they would be willing to become accredited with the AAMA or you can just complete a program that is already accredited by the AAMA. I also should tell you, we don’t have an accreditation department.
